Our beautiful mixed flock enjoying their free-range lifestyle under the trees. Each bird has their own personality and favorite spots around the farm!
Rooster Red
Our handsome rooster who takes his job very seriously. He's the first to sound the alarm and the last to sleep.
Buttercup
The sweetest hen with golden feathers. She loves to be petted and always lays the most beautiful eggs.
Penny
Our little copper-colored explorer. She's always the first to investigate anything new in the yard.
Snowball
Pure white and fluffy as her name suggests. She's the most photogenic of the bunch and knows it!
Speckles
Named for her beautiful speckled pattern. She's shy but incredibly smart and always finds the best hiding spots.
Duke the Farm Dog
Our loyal guardian who keeps watch over the flock. Duke makes sure all our chickens are safe and sound, while adding his own playful personality to the farm!
About Perks Farm
What started in 2021 as a simple desire for fresh eggs has turned into a wonderful journey of chicken keeping. Our backyard flock of 10 chickens brings us so much joy every single day.
We believe in treating our chickens like family - they have plenty of space to roam, fresh food and water, and lots of love and attention. In return, they give us 4-5 delicious eggs daily and endless entertainment!
Every morning starts with checking on the girls, collecting eggs, and watching their funny antics. Our two farm dogs help keep everyone safe and add even more personality to our little homestead!
